The Artist -
Michelle Dawson lives in a converted church in the Northern Rivers area of Australia. Her work is figuratively based and invariably incorporates animals. Naturally drawn to the aesthetics and line of improbable looking creatures. Michelle is intrigued by the point whereby the domesticated and civilised meets the wild and instinctual. She has been shortlisted for many major art prizes as well as having illustrated three children’s books.
